Bedrooms in Small Apartments

A bedroom is a private oasis in one’s home. It reflects the occupant’s likes, interests and personality. The keywords for a bedroom design are comfort and privacy. In a small apartment, usually there is one master bedroom and a smaller one for the children, and, if the apartment is large enough, a guest bedroom. The master bedroom will be shared by two people with different requirements. The age of the children dictates the design of the children’s room and the guest bedroom can double as a hobby room.

The main components in bedroom design are the cot, utility furniture, and wardrobe storage. Besides these basics, space for a work desk and a small seating area with an entertainment centre with stereo and TV is also essential.
