How To Choose The Best Hepa Vacuums

February 12th, 2010 | No Comments | Posted in Interior Design, Residential Interior Design

When you are trying to choose the best hepa vacuums, there are many things to consider. Many do not realize, but you have to take into consideration the size of the home, as well as the type of flooring in the house. Here you will find some tips to help you with your choice.

As mentioned, the size of the home makes a big difference on the kind of hepa vacuum cleaner that you buy. Look at the vacuum specifications in order to determine if it is the right size for your home. Every size works better for different size homes. It does not hurt to ask someone in the store that you are buying from either.

Many of the canister vacuum cleaners are full sized vacuum cleaners, however they work better in cleaning homes of a larger size. If the home is very small like the size of a room or small one bedroom, then a vacuum cleaner of a smaller size may be all that you need. Then the next thing to consider is the flooring of the home.

Some homes have a lot of carpeting and then others only have a small amount. Hopefully, if you suffer with asthma or allergies, then there is not a lot of carpeting in your home. Unfortunately, this is not always a choice, so we have to work with what we have.

Those with a lot of carpeting may want to consider some of the higher end models. Many of the higher end vacuums work better in ridding of the carpets of the stuff that sits down below. This is especially important for those with allergies and asthma. Canister vacuum cleaners on the other hand work well for those that have a combination of hard wood floors and carpeting.

One thing to consider, are the advantages and disadvantages that come along with upright and canister vacuums. One advantage to the upright vacuum is the ease of storage, along with suction power that it provides. Usually, they will have more suction power than the canister vacuums at a lower price.

Upright vacuum cleaners are heavier and harder to move around for the most part. Many of them are not designed so they are easy to use with many different tools, nor do they come fully sealed with the HEPA systems that they have. Canister vacuums on the other hand are easier to use and seem lighter as well.

There are varieties of different tools that come with the canister vacuums. Although easier, they are harder to store and tend to have less power than the upright vacuum cleaners. When it comes down to it, the best hepa vacuums are what’s easier for you.
